>At the beginning of the week I was in a bit of a pickle, I had been unwell with migranes and as a result I hadn’t listened to my Slimpod for 3 days. I contacted Sandra at ThinkingSlimmer and was delighted to have a telephone conversation with her about my plan. I was concerned that I had been doing something wrong, or maybe not doing something right, so it was relief to get some advice to stop me worrying.

Sandra told to set myself a small goal for a week, and she also explained how I don’t have to listen to it at night before going to sleep.
So for the last few days I have been listening at different times of day. Thursday I got up earlier than the whole house and laid on the sofa and listened. Last night I went upstairs in the evening once the kids were in bed, and listened to it, then chilled for a while before going back downstairs.

I set myself a hard goal of 13lb in a week. Yes, I know that sounds alot, but I knew that this would give me motivation.

It was my birthday yesterday and hubby treated me to a yummy chinese takeaway, I was pleased to get my favourites, but after just 2 chicken balls, 2 mini spring rolls, and a spoonful of rice, I was done. Hubby was pleased, it meant more him to take for his lunch the next day. I just didn’t fancy it, that had satisfied my hunger completely.

So on Wednesday I weighed myself and I weighed 12stone13 and today is Saturday, and I am pleased to say I now weigh 12stone8, I have lost 5lbs! I won’t be weighing myself again until Wednesday now, but hopefully the extra 8lbs will be gone!!

Long may this continue! I even treated myself to a bar of choccy this morning, I took one bite and put it down, it’s still sat in the kitchen!!
