Last Saturday, me and mark was lucky to be asked to be VIP’s for Bobs Big Build.
We arrived at the London Eye and caught the Thames Clipper down the river to the O2 with lots of other bob fans! There was champagne, bob the builder juice and some edible delights.
I was pleased to see the lovely Wendy and her gorgeous family, from Inside The Wendy House aswell as meeting Helen from The Crazy Kitchen.
I entered the designated Bob area, and I actually had no idea what to expect! We were handed a Bob the Builder hard hat and a passport. Inside the Bob area there was lots of different zones which you could visit. Once you had completed one activity you would get a sticker for your passport.
There was a building zone, where the bricks were made out of foam, so the little ones could let their imaginations run wild!
There was a story corner, play tables with bobs toys, a scooter track with Bob scooters, a bouncy castle and a massive sandpit where the kids could go digging for dinosaur bones. There was also a show from Bob the Builder and Wendy, as well as a meet and greet afterwards, although the queue was huge and we didn’t get a chance for a picture.
We were then ushered into an adjoining area where there were massive comfy bean bag chairs. There was a huge screen where we all settled down to watch the new Bob the Builder feature length film ‘Bob’s Big Dino Dig’. I was pleased to see that both areas were fenced off and child safe, so you had no worries that your child would escape.
We had a lovely day, and were pleased to come home with our own copy of the DVD as well as some other Bob the Builder goodies which has kept all 3 of my Bob fans entertained.
You can pre-order your copy of Bob the Builder The Big Dino Dig from Amazon for £7.99, it is also available in other leading stockists from September 19th 2011.
