Bumpsters have created the new Snugabub fitted top sheet for summer use in your babies cot.
The Snugabub is a top sheet which has fitted base corners, to ensure your child stays snug and safe in their cot.
The Snugabub is made from 100% cotton which allows breathability and softness against baby. I washed our sheet before use to give Mark the smell of our laundry which always calms him and reassures him at night. It washed up brilliantly and was left feeling like a realy luxurious crisp cotton sheet, if only they did adult size ones!!
Fitting the sheet to Marks cot was easy. It has fitted base corners and you simply fit it over your mattress and tuck it underneath. You do this at the foot position of the cot, meaning when you put your child at the ‘feet to foot’ position they get the benefit of the sheet.
There is tapered sides that allow you to tuck your baby in, it creates a ‘snug’, helping your child feel more secure and to help them sleep longer.
When Mark was a baby he loved being swaddled, I wish I had a snugabub back then because we just used a blanket to create the same effect which to be honest, was pretty useless!
Once the sheet is in place, you can simply untuck one side and pop your child to bed. You can then pull that side across your baby and tuck it back down. There you have it-a snugabub!!
The great thing about Snugabub is that because they are sold in 3 different sizes, they always have just the right amount of bedding, meaning no excess material that your child could get tangled in, or even worse, strangled (every parents worse nighmare!!)
We found the Snugabub to be brilliantly useful. Mark is a very active toddler and often kicks his blankets off in the night, meaning he gets cold, disturbed and wakes up. But with the Snugabub he is kept snug all night! This is Mark in his Snugabub 4 hours after going to sleep, hehas wriggled up slightly but its still in place despite his kicking and fidgeting!
