As a Graco ambassador, I have the great privilege of testing out their products with my son, Mark.
Graco are aware of my strong feelings on parent-child interaction from my testing of the Graco Fusio. So they sent me the new Graco Symbio to try, which is also designed with parent-child interaction in mind!

The Graco Symbio is a gorgeous head turning pushchair. The quality is clearly visable. It has a metal chassis that screams quality. There is a super luxury padded seat, insert and padded strap pads included, it is simply stunning!

One of the major attractions of the buggy is that the parent handle can simply be flipped over in one simple movement. There is no need to move your child. I love having Mark parent facing, even at 15 months old. He loves seeing me too. If he drops his blanket or his dummy, I know in an instant and can grab it before it is lost forever. The symbio enables me and mark to interact with each other. Mark love to point at things that interest him, I repsond telling him what the object is and he copies the shape my mouth makes. This is something that I most definatly wouldn’t be able to if he was facing outwards!

The flip over action of the Symbio handle is brilliant for using in everyday life. When we are out feeding the ducks or even at the zoo or farm, it’s great to simply flip the handle over so Mark can see the animals without me getting in the way. Then when he is finished, I can simply flip the handle back and can tend to his every need. I don’t have to move the seat unit or even remove Mark himself.

The fabric of the Graco Symbio has been tested against toxicity, ammability and for colourfastness. This is very reassuring as a parent to know! The hood provides UV protection and is extendable. The extendable hood was a shock to me, as I didn’t realise it even existed, it hides away in the hood so well! It is super handy for keeping the sun out of Marks eyes on a bright day and even when the seat is reclined when he is napping.

The Symbio has pneumatic tyres which teamed with the spring shock absorbers create a really comfortable ride for your child even when on rough ground.
It folds down really flat for easy storage. It doesn’t weigh much, at just 7.5kg so is super easy to get in and out of the car. You can fold the Symbio down with just one hand, I have found this to be a super handy feature as like any other parent, I am always juggling a changing bag, baby and buggy. This definitely makes life that little bit easier.

Within the price of the Graco Symbio, you get the ICS adapter, so you can buy the Graco Logico S HP car seat to enable you to use the Symbio as a travel system. There is a rain cover included within the price which is a brilliant fit. You can purchase a separate carrycot, the Symbio Go if you wish, so the younger baby can lie flat. There is a baby bag that you can also purchase which looks brilliant and hooks on the back of the Symbio.

Don’t just take my word for it though! The Graco Symbio has won a whole host of awards such as the Mother & Baby gold award for ‘Best Travel System’ and silver award for ‘Best Pushchair’!
