Like many parents, I ordered my kids school uniforms online. With TESCO F&F embroidery service being heavily promoted throughout the school, with leaflets home etc, I decided I would try it out and get both my primary age children their polo shirts, pe tops, reversible jackets and jumpers. I am not naive to think that these items would be quick to arrive, so I placed my order on 7th August 2015. Fast forward to 29th August and I get an email to say my order is embroidered and has been dispatched. It contained a link to track my parcel. All that is on that tracking info is ‘Order generated’ by TESCO I assume.
So I queried this with the TESCO twitter team, who also had no idea about it. I rang up TESCO and they say they also have no idea where my parcel is and that they will ring me back later today (still no phone call). So imagine my shock when I get in from picking my kids up from their first day back at school, to these tweets.
@danielleGparker Sorry about this Danielle, I've queried this with our courier and they've informed me they've not received the parcel. (1)

@danielleGparker I can see if the items are still in stock and arrange a replacement order for you or I can refund you for the order. (2)

@danielleGparker Please let me know which you would like for me to do? I apologise for the inconvenience. Thanks, Kai (3)

But then TESCO reply to my Facebook post saying it will be here by end of the week, well clearly not!
So what the hell do I do? I already had to rush out and buy emergency uniform, not an easy task when you live in deep Cotswold countryside. I put my trust in TESCO and have been let down badly.
I am absolutely fuming, my kids uniform is not here, the items I ordered are no longer in stock, and any embroidery would take a good month again to arrive (if they even did!). TESCO have failed to deliver, and I am not alone, just look at their FB and Twitter pages and loads of people are having the exact same problems. So what do I suggest? Stick to selling milk and bread from a shop, your embroidery service is shockingly awful.
The sad thing is they are putting all the independent uniform suppliers, out of business by undercutting them all. Shame on them ?
TBH though the service is so bloody shocking, I would rather use an indi shop who has the personal touch, even if it is a few quid more. I hope others follow suit.
