With the honour of being Crayola Brand Ambassador, comes the great job of reviewing their products over the course of theyear with my children who love all things art and craft!
This week the product focus is the Crayola Dry Erase Board and Pens.
The dual sided board has one black side and one white side. Included with the board is 8 non-toxic bright coloured crayons and a black ‘E-Z Erase cloth too. The idea is you draw on the board and then can wipe it off with the ‘E-Z cloth’. The crayon packet even has a built in sharpener on the back too!
First up to be tested was the black side of the board, Marky loves Chalks, but we find the chalk dust such a pain, especially for our cream carpets and his clothes. But the Dry Erase board left no residue and even when wiped there was dust to come loose. The colours are still really vibrant, in fact more vibrant than regular chalks. They are easy for little hands to hold, and the fact they have such a large nib means they can used at different angles.
Next up the white side, again they worked great, but Marky was more keen to get the pens out. The Broad Line Dry Erase pens come in a pack of 6 and again they are completely washable. The packet states low odour, but I actually cannot smell anything from them. They feature a ‘versatile tip’, which means you can do thick and thin lines, depending on which way you angle the pen. These worked brilliantly and again were really vibrant in colour. They wipe off easily and again there is no residue, brilliant.
The Dry Erase board would be fantastic not just for home, but also for travelling too, it creates no mess, yet little ones can create masterpieces over and over again. This is one of our favourite Crayola products, we LOVE it.
