Madagascar is a massive hit in our house with all three of my children with an age range of 2 to 10 all loving the big characters known as Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe. They are all back this time on a brand new DVD, Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted.
This time in the film the animals are still trying to get home to New York. Starring in the film is the much loved Penguins, as well as King Julien and , Maurice. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a travelling circus, they join the circus and it is laughs a-plenty!
I honestly have to say that this is my favourite out of the three Madagascar films, the children have spent the last few days wandering around singing the infectious ‘Afro-circus, afro-circus, polka dots polka dots…’ song that features. This is full of laughs for all ages, as well as colourful bright characters and a story line that brings something new to Madagascar once more. It is easy to think that by a third film, that the plots could get a little tiresome with the same characters, but honestly it is utterly brilliant.
