Mookie are a trusted brand in out house, so when we got offered a Scuttlebug for Marky, I jumped at the chance. I knew the Scuttlebug was a trike which is suitable for ages 1-3. But Mark has never been one a tricycle independantly so I was excited to see what he though of it, and if he would be ok on it.

Mark was quick to discover the box and saw the picture of the child riding one on top, he also spied the cute little eyes that are part of the design of the Scuttlebug, on the front of the box. It really does have the cute factor.

Opening up the box I was concerned that Mark would get frustrated while I sat and assembled it, but I was confronted with this..

Opening up the bag showed this….

To assemble the Scuttlebug into a tricycle, you simply put the legs out. There is arrows on the back legs showing which but you have to pull and where. It is really easy. There is no extra parts to build this, once the legs are clicked in place it is ready for a ride!
I have done a YouTube video to show just how easy it is, bear in mind I was also doing this one handed as I had the camera in one hand too!

Marky loves his Scuttlebug, and has taken to calling it ‘Bug’. It is really lightweight, meaning he can pick it up and drag it around, and steering it when riding is easy too. It also means that its great for taking with you, we recently took it to the in-laws and it squeezed in our packed car as it takes up hardly any room at all!

Well done Mookie on creating a fantastic lightweight, portable, easy to use Scuttlebug!
The Scuttlebug is available in four colours, yellow (bee), pink (flowerbug), blue (dragonfly) and red (ladybird). The RRP is £29.99, I really do believe that is a great price for such a great quailty ride on that is so easy to transport too!
