Today is the day we have been awaiting, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is out in cinemas! It has been much anticipated, especially by my 14 year old son Jordan. He is a huge fan, and there was actual audible cheers when these LEGO sets turned up for review.
We were sent three sets from the range…
Ayesha’s Revenge 76080
Included in this set is 2 bags of LEGO, one instruction book and a comic book.
There are 3 minifigures included, Ayesha, Yondu and Star-Lord. There is also an exclusive micro figure Groot who has Ravager design!
Slide back the top of Yondus Laser Drill space ship release the minifigure inside…
Ayesha’s golden drone has adjustable arms to take it from ultra speed mode to battle mode, where you can shoot studs from the stud shooters on each side.
This set is awesome for detail and the perfect set to create your own galaxy saving scenes.
Ravager Attack 76079
You get three minifigures included, Taserface, Mantis and Rocket as well as an awesome tree set up, perfect forest scenery that can be used for hiding and climbing.
You also get the pieces to build your very own M-Ship. Once built, the M-Ship is the perfect Ravager attack holding Taserface in the cockpit, use Mantis and Rocket to help defend against the attack, Taserface comes included with Big gun and Rocket has two guns as well. There is plenty here to have your own battles and hours of fun.
The Milano vs Abilisk 76081
This set is epic! (Jordan’s words…) The Milano is a great build, once complete you have a highly detailed ship that is just perfect for recreating your favourite scenes, or even making up some of your own. There is many features, including a dropping bomb function from underneath the Milano, you get LEGO bombs included, and two stud shooters as well that all run independently. The wings are movable, so you can get it to look and fly just how you want it. It is a stunning model, great for playing and displaying too.
You get two instruction books included, as well as the comic book too. The minifigures included are Nebula, Gamora, Drax and Star-Lord. You also get a exclusive Groot who oozes the cute factor!
The Abilisk, you spin it to make it look like the tentacles are moving and you can open and close the mouth. I love how you can attach the figures to the tentacles, it’s a great interactive set.
Which one is your favourite? We are off to see the film this weekend!
