We are HUGE fans of construction toys, it’s something everyone takes part in. This is for everyone, from my youngest who is 4, right up to their dad who is 42. Their dad has always maintained that he is better at constructing things than Jordan, who is 14 and has Autism and ADHD. So when this Airfix package turned up, I knew this was the perfect time to see just how they got on…so I invited their dad over for an Airfix building challenge. But who would win? A 42 year old mechanic, or 14 year old Jordan?
The Airfix Quick Build sets are suitable from age 5+, and they are easy to construct. They come in a block format, so there is no screws, no glues or extras needed to build them. They are pre coloured too, so no paint is needed. This makes them great for younger fans who might be starting out, but they are equally just as good fun for more expert builders too, as you can see!
So for our challenge we didn’t include stickering, that was done later as it requires some patience to get them perfect. So who would win? 42 year old Stu had the Hark, while Jordan has the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4.
A great challenge, and done in half the time, well done Jordan!
Airfix Quickbuild kits are great, good quality pieces that are solid once build, no fiddly or delicate bits to get broken. There is a huge range available to purchase including Spitfire, VW Beetle, Harrier and many more! Check out www.airfix.com/uk-en for more details and to purchase.
Well done Jordan that was one fast build.
I really liked your video, great way of presenting the challenge
