My children absolutely adore a session on a trampoline, but it’s SO expensive taking them to a trampoline park. So when SportsPower offered to send us a brand new 14ft trampoline, how could I say no to a summer of bouncing?!
SportsPower are a new company to hit the UK market with their vast range of trampolines, with their products available at Argos, Very and ASDA to name just a few. They pride themselves on customer service, which is always nice to hear, although we all hope that we won’t ever have a problem.
So our trampoline arrived, and you know how it is, you open the box and gasp at the contents inside, worried it’s going to take days so you just close it back up again. Well, not this time! The instructions are clear and were in English, and even the attention to detail on the accessories pack included was great, they all come in a card backed plastic pack, so they don’t roll around everywhere they stay in their required slot until you need it, just peeling back the card on the section you need at each point, no more hunting for an elusive screw.
Once together it really took shape, and the kids couldn’t wait to get on, but first I had to give it a test run to make sure it was sturdy. I am very impressed with how sturdy it feels, the maximum weight limit is 100kg, so even I can have a good bounce.
So what’s the benefits of having a trampoline in the garden? Well unlimited bouncing is the main one, my kids love that they can bounce as much as they like on it, there’s no time limit like trampoline centres. It really helps get them outside and active. All of my children adore it, and I am chuffed with how good quality it is, other brands definitely seem inferior. One of the great features on this trampoline is the Easi-Store option, you just undo one easy turn screw and the surround can come down instantly, so if you encounter bad weather this will stop the dreaded blowing away to someone else’s house (you see it every storm in the papers!)
What my kids don’t seem to notice is how trampolining is such a great sport for keeping healthy, bouncing uses so many muscles and my 6 year old doesn’t even notice that she is doing her physio stretches while she bounces like a lunatic.
